Center for Preventive Endocrinology and Nutrition (CFPEN) is a consultative Endocrinology practice with impetus on providing individualized treatment to each and every patient with strong focus on optimal nutrition to create the right healing environment.
The famous quote from Hippocrates, the Father of modern medicine, “Let food be thy medicine” is an important pillar of the individualized treatment approaches that we harness for each patient. Preventing today’s lifestyle disease like diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure is not just important for each person but also important to avoid higher healthcare costs and loss of productivity as a society. The power of whole plant foods, not only can help us prevent a vast majority of them but also can be used as an effective treatment strategy along with necessary medications.
Another focus of our care is the individualization of treatment for each patient, as one size does not fit all. This guiding principle allows us to provide the best possible treatment for each patient.
We at CFPEN, follow the guiding principle from M.K.Gandhi, “Treat others the way you would like to be treated” in our interaction with patients. The staff and physician strive to provide the best possible care with utmost compassion and if we seem to falter from that we would like you to give us the right feedback.
Along with providing individualized and compassionate care, we strive for within one business day response time on reverting back on your calls and prescription requests.
The physician at CFPEN focus on spending time with each patient and listening and addressing the patient’s questions/concerns and explaining the results of the test performed and then form an individualized treatment plan that encompasses the patient’s concerns.
Our vision at CFPEN is to empower the patients with the right understanding of their disease conditions and make them an equitable partner in the journey of their care and treatment. Empower patients with the knowledge of whole food plant nutrition, which is a vital part of healthy lifestyle.
